How to Make a Cardboard Portfolio
A portfolio is a great way to showcase your creative work. Whether youre an artist, graphic designer, photographer, or writer, having a portfolio provides a professional way to present your work to potential clients and employers. Creating a portfolio doesnt have to be expensive. With some cardboard, glue, and a few other craft supplies, you can make a unique and stylish portfolio quickly and easily.

Materials Needed:
-Cardboard (the amount you need will depend on the size of your portfolio)
-Scissors or a craft knife
-Ruler
-Pen or pencil
-Adhesive (glue, double-sided tape, etc.)
-Decorative paper or fabric
-Ribbon, twine, or any other embellishments youd like to add

Step 1: Measure and Cut the Cardboard
Measure and mark your cardboard with the ruler and pen or pencil. The size you choose will depend on the size of your portfolio. Cut out the cardboard with the scissors or craft knife.

Step 2: Assemble the Cardboard Pieces
Lay the cardboard pieces flat and use the adhesive to attach them together. Make sure the edges are lined up evenly and that all of the pieces are securely attached.

Step 3: Decorate the Cover
Cut the decorative paper or fabric to fit the size of your portfolio and attach it to the cardboard with adhesive. You can also add embellishments such as ribbon, twine, buttons, or other decorative items to make the portfolio unique.

Step 4: Add the Finishing Touches
Once the cover is decorated, add any other finishing touches such as pockets or dividers. You can use cardstock or other materials to create these pockets and dividers, and attach them to the portfolio with adhesive.

Step 5: Secure the Portfolio
Once youre satisfied with the look of your portfolio, use adhesive to securely attach the cover to the cardboard. You can also use a hot glue gun if you prefer.

And there you have it! Your own custom-made cardboard portfolio. Not only is it a great way to showcase your work, but it also demonstrates your creativity and resourcefulness. Now youre ready to get out there and show off your portfolio. Good luck
